About Rocky Gully Sporting Clays
Rocky Gully Sporting Clays (RGSC) is a sporting clays club at 3749 Old Princes Highway, Monarto South, near Murray Bridge and about 45 minutes from the Adelaide toll gate. It is one of four branches of the South Australian Field & Game Association (SAFGA), which formed in 1962 and has about 450 members. SAFGA is the SA member body of Sporting Clays Australia, and members register through SCA.
Shoot days
The monthly competition is normally on the third Sunday of the month, mostly over 75 targets with 100-target shoots in some months. Competitions are open to beginners through to experienced shooters. Practice runs on scheduled Saturday mornings each month; dates are on the club's website and Facebook page.
The club also runs corporate and party clay target days for team building, client entertainment, birthdays and groups. No experience is needed: instructors are provided and packages cover everything needed on the day.
