About Central Sporting Clays (SAFGA)
Central Sporting Clays is the Central branch of the South Australian Field & Game Association (SAFGA). Its ground, Hannafords Reef, is on Cromer Road at Mount Pleasant in the Adelaide Hills, a few minutes from the Birdwood Motor Museum.
SAFGA was formed in 1962 and has about 450 members across its branches, which hold monthly competitions of 50 to 225 targets.
Shoot days
The branch runs a monthly 75-target sporting clays high-gun competition on a Sunday, usually the first Sunday of the month and occasionally the second. The calendar also carries memorial shoots through the year and a 60-target Christmas shoot.
Joining
Members of the public can come to watch or shoot under supervision, and juniors are accepted as members from age 12. SAFGA members register and pay through Sporting Clays Australia. For visitor arrangements, use the enquiry button on this page.
