Canberra International Clay Target Club shoots at 6394 Kings Highway, Kowen, roughly 9 km east of Queanbeyan on the Kings Highway. It is the Australian Capital Territory's clay target ground.
Through its Australian Clay Target Association membership the club shoots Down the Line, ball trap, double trap, skeet and trench. Through Field & Game Australia membership it also runs simulated field.
The club runs a monthly cycle: Five Stand practice on the first Sunday, simulated field competition on the second, skeet practice and new shooter lessons on the third, and DTL competition on the fourth. Thursday evenings are used for DTL practice and competition. The club does not open on days of Total Fire Ban.
New shooters are catered for directly — the third Sunday of the month includes lessons for people new to the sport.
Canberra International Clay Target Club is listed among the Australian Clay Target Association affiliated clubs and the Field & Game Australia branches on Find Shooting Clubs. Browse more shooting clubs in the ACT, or explore Down the Line, skeet and other shotgun sports.
