About North Arm Shotgun Association
North Arm Shotgun Association of Queensland (NASAQ) shoots sporting clays, skeet and 5 Stand at the Davison Range, 269 Fairhill Road, North Arm, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. The club started more than 40 years ago as a Field and Game club.
The ground has a skeet field, a 5 Stand and two sporting clays layouts, one of them the Gully. Ammunition and gun hire are available on site, ear protection is provided, and EFTPOS is available.
Shoot days
The range is open on Wednesday and Sunday mornings. On Wednesdays, 5 Stand and skeet start at 8:30am. A monthly sporting competition for licensed shooters runs on the first Sunday; other Sundays follow the club calendar.
Joining
Unlicensed shooters can come only by prior arrangement and must bring photo ID. Participants must be 11 or older, and unlicensed minors need a licensed adult with them. Membership goes through Sporting Clays Australia, nominating North Arm as your branch. The club is volunteer run; details are on the club's website.
