About Laang Range – SSAA Warrnambool Branch
The Laang Range at 153 Coulahans Road, Laang, near Warrnambool, is run by the SSAA Victoria Warrnambool Branch, known locally as Laang SSAA. It is a shotgun-only branch for sporting clays, including Compak Sporting and English Sporting, and works closely with Sporting Clays Australia and the Victorian Sporting Clays Association.
Shoot days
General shoots are held on the first Sunday of the month from 10am. The branch's monthly 75- and 100-target sporting clays events, usually on the first Sunday, are on the Victorian sporting clays calendar.
The range hosted the VSCA State Sporting Clay Championships in September 2025 and again on 5–6 September 2026, as well as state selection shoots. In November 2024 it co-hosted the 46th Australian Sporting Clays Nationals with Timboon Field and Game, the four-day event alternating between the two grounds. It also ran a 25-target shoot for schoolchildren in June 2025.
The clubrooms have power, running water, air-conditioning and heating, and there are toilets on site.
