About Tuggerah Lakes Memorial Pistol Club
Tuggerah Lakes Memorial Pistol Club (TLMPC) is a Central Coast pistol club with its ground at 140 Bellevue Road, Tumbi Umbi, a short way east of Tumbi Umbi High School. It started in 1970 as an air pistol group under the Tuggerah Lakes Memorial Club and later moved to Tumbi Umbi. Membership sits at around 360.
The ground has five ranges: two 25m centrefire ranges, a 50m outdoor .22 range for ISSF and Free Pistol, and two 10m air pistol ranges. There is a clubhouse with a canteen, a defibrillator and a lead-washing station. In 2026 the club received a NSW Office of Sport Local Sport Grant for four electronic air pistol targets.
Shoot days
- Club matches on Saturdays and Sundays (Saturday canteen)
- Thursday nights from 6:00pm: Air Pistol, with a BBQ
- Wednesday mornings from 9:00am: members' practice and informal matches

ISSF Pistol (Centrefire, Standard, Free, Sport and Rapid Fire), Air Pistol, NRA Action and International Rapid Fire Modified, Service Pistol (including Service Unrestricted, Glock modified, NZ Classic and Local Auto), VAPA Short Barrel, Black Powder, Metallic Silhouette, and Ladies/Junior Sport Pistol.
Joining
New shooters go through a full safe-handling program, and accredited coaches are available on request. Licensed visitors pay $10 per match with targets and patches included; regulars can take out associate membership. For membership questions, use the enquiry button on this page.
