About Perth Metro Sporting Clays
Perth Metro Sporting Clays is affiliated with Sporting Clays Australia and has more than 200 active members across two grounds.
Wanneroo Shooting Complex, Graham Pow Drive, Pinjar: a natural bush course with over 20 traps and clubhouse amenities. Most competition shoots, Saturday practice and coaching days are held here. Members also have a 400m rifle range with covered benches, open five or six times a month.
Whiteman Park International Shooting Complex, Jules Steiner Memorial Drive: open mainly on Sundays, with the focus on Compak/5-stand and English Sporting and more practice days than competitions.
Shoot days
Practice days run 9:30am–3pm on scheduled Saturdays at Wanneroo and Sundays at Whiteman Park. Practice and competition dates are in the club's shoot calendar.
Joining
Prospective members attend scheduled shoots a couple of times before applying, with a sponsor and two references. New members can use club shotguns under supervision. Three or four coaching days a year are run by SCA nationally accredited and club accredited coaches, and there is a four-to-five-day junior program. Use the enquiry button on this page for questions.
