About Penguin Clay Target Club

Penguin Clay Target Club is a Sporting Clays Australia (SCA) affiliated club on Tasmania's north-west coast. The ground is at Hardys Road and Ironcliffe Road above the town of Penguin, between Burnie and Devonport.

The club shoots on the second Sunday of every month with a 9:30am start and describes itself as having a friendly, family-based membership that welcomes all ages. It hosts SCA state events including the 2026 State 200-Target Sporting Clays High Gun Event.

Gravel tracks give all-weather access to the range, and the club offers firearm handling coaching and range safety instruction to members. It is affiliated with Sporting Clays Tasmania and Sporting Clays Australia.
